Autumn 2018 concert – American Greats
A great start to the 2018/19 season
A big thank you to all who came along to our first concert of the 2018/19 season. For this concert, we celebrated two great American composers: George Gershwin and Aaron Copland. We were joined by Paul Turner on piano for Gershwin’s fabulous piano concerto, and our very own Cully Wilcoxon put down his cello (only temporarily) to take on the cloak of narrator in Copland’s stirring Lincoln Portrait. Here are some impressions of the evening – thank you Mags for these great shots!
